Background

The client had implemented Hyperion Essbase for Financial, Logistics, and Operational reporting. Data was populated in flat-file format into several cubes within Essbase. The client had also licensed Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite (OBIFS), including Oracle Analytics and Essbase.  

 

The client’s goal was to leverage Oracle Analytics to standardize their enterprise reporting needs in a phased manner beginning with implementing Oracle Analytics to report on Financial, Logistics, and Operational data off Essbase cubes. 

 

Solution
