Background

The client had implemented Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in the year 2011 as its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. It had also implemented Oracle Analytics as its Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics, and Reporting platform in the same year. Oracle BI Applications version 7.9.6.2 (OBIA) was deployed on top of the Oracle Analytics platform (Release 10g) to provide analysis of data from EBS and used Informatica 8.6.1 as the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tool.
