DiLytics implemented a centralized analytics platform that consolidated data from multiple sources, automated reporting processes, and delivered actionable insights through interactive dashboards
Multi-family energy efficiency projects supported over the program’s history
Multifamily housing units upgraded across nine Bay Area counties
Years of historical program data available for trend analysis and performance monitoring
The client’s Multi-Family Program has upgraded more than 50,000 housing units through over 700 projects across nine Bay Area counties. However, fragmented data sources and spreadsheet-driven reporting limited visibility into project performance, incentives, and energy savings, resulting in significant manual effort and reporting inefficiencies.
DiLytics implemented a Multi-Family Program Analytics solution as part of BayREN’s enterprise Data Aggregation and Reporting initiative. The solution automated the consolidation of program data, established common metrics and dimensional models, and delivered centralized reporting capabilities supporting project, program performance, and financial transaction analytics.
The implementation improved program visibility, streamlined stakeholder reporting, enhanced planning and forecasting capabilities, and established a scalable foundation for self-service and cross-program analytics, enabling BayREN to better measure the economic and environmental impact of its initiatives.
BayREN’s Multi-Family Program relied on data spread across multiple systems, making reporting and analysis time-consuming and difficult to manage. DiLytics implemented a centralized analytics solution that automated data integration, standardized reporting metrics, and delivered visibility into project performance, incentives, energy savings, and program operations. The solution improved reporting efficiency, enhanced planning and forecasting, and established a scalable foundation for future analytics initiatives.

BayREN is a regional collaboration of the nine counties in the San Francisco Bay Area focused on delivering innovative energy efficiency and sustainability programs. Through initiatives such as the Multifamily Program, BayREN supports building owners and managers in reducing energy consumption, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and accelerating electrification efforts across residential properties.
Program data was distributed across multiple platforms, creating reporting inefficiencies, duplicate data management, and limited visibility into project performance. Manual reporting processes made it difficult to monitor program outcomes, incentives, and future project opportunities while maintaining consistent and accurate reporting.
DiLytics designed and implemented a Multi-Family Program Analytics solution as part of BayREN’s enterprise Data Aggregation and Reporting initiative. The solution automated the consolidation of program data, established common metrics and dimensional models, and delivered centralized reporting capabilities supporting project performance, program operations, and financial transaction analytics.
