The client is a government agency which manages and supports the basic functioning of the government of one of the US states. It provides financial, property, purchasing, human resources and information technology services to all state agencies, and assists the Governor in developing the annual state budget.

 

Background

 

The client had decided to leverage Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to meet its data analytics needs. However, just implementing OAC would not have met its needs as it was looking for a fully functional BI solution covering sub-modules such as General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), and Account Receivables (AR) for its finance users.

 

The client chose DiLytics’ proprietary solution ‘Financial Insight Solution’, which comes with pre-packaged business metrics, attributes, reports and dashboards, prebuilt data objects from PeopleSoft source system, and pre-integrated data load from PeopleSoft.

 

DiLytics’ Solution

 

DiLytics implemented its Financial Insight solution on Oracle Analytics Cloud, delivering a comprehensive and scalable analytics framework for the client. The solution included:

  • 3 out-of-the-box dashboards
  • A robust logical metadata layer and data model
  • 47 out-of-the-box reports
  • 21 custom reports identified and developed in Oracle Data Visualization (DV)
  • Validation of all 21 custom DV reports
  • Prebuilt database views to streamline data access and reporting

DiLytics executed the project across all key phases – requirements gathering, solution design, configuration of the Financial Insight platform, testing, user training, and deployment,ensuring a seamless and structured implementation.

Following deployment, DiLytics also provided one year of post-implementation support and maintenance, ensuring stability, user adoption, and continuous operational efficiency.
