Assist the Bid/Proposal Manager in developing a proposal structure
Understand the proposal objectives and determine the scope of work
Responsible for custom content to best represent our organizations capabilities to our prospects
Manage the completion of RFPs for existing and prospective clients
Coordinate with Sales, Management, and technical staff to lead all activities involved in the preparation of responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), and Requests for Proposals (RFP), including proposals, qualifications packages, and Government Standard Forms
Monitor various websites for RFQs and RFPs
Deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required
Flexibility in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities and unpredictable events
Interview technical staff to tailor and/or write and maintain resumes, project descriptions, and other marketing collateral needed in proposals
Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant
Help with the preparation of presentations/leave-behind materials for interviews and client meetings
Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
Produce professional, technically-sound, and visually appealing presentations and graphics
Write non-technical sections such as cover letters and executive summaries
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of prior relevant experience in proposal writing and supporting proposal responses to RFOs/RFQs/RFPs (RFx) opportunities
Required strong command of English, proofreading skills and creativity as well as excellent verbal and visual communication skills
Strong organizations skills, project management skills and the ability to continually re-assess priorities
Ability to work flexible hours as needed or required by proposal deadlines
Good Command at MS office such as Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Proven demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Candidates having international exposure will be preferred
